centerfire systems has a good price on these parts kits, my question is, has anyone here done one? does anyone know how to convert the fcg to semi auto? where did you get your receiver? did you get a new receiver, or repair the existing one?

Do a search of the site. I came up with this but there are others. Looks like somewhat of a challange to build. sweet, thakyou all, i think i am going to try to build a thompson look alike/sorta, i found kits for $120 so i figured id give it a shot! we'll see if it turns out to be a bubba or not!!!

there are several different ways to build the soumi...

you can use the Greg Clark approved system with a striker

or the tommerr set up for a hammer fired

or even the Dan Diesel AR FCG set up.

ive dont them with both Gregs's striker and Dans hammer set up.

reduced ID builds on Prexis Tubes.... if you have a good kit and some decent welding skills this build has got alot easier than it was back in the early days.

its still a level 6-7 build.

they are great shooting guns, very accurate with no recoil at all. HEAVY. lol

if you like building, sure jump on it!

if your looking at $$ per $$ ?? no you cant really build it for what you can buy it now.
