Howa heavy model in .243. Bolt fluted by Kampfeld Custom. Comes with the EGW 20 moa base. Less than 100 rounds down the 10 twist forged barrel. $425 delivered. Used last year on a deer hunt and shot submoa in a different unbedded stock with 100gr FED Power-shok at 100yds.
For those who don't know Howa's are same as the Weatherby Vanguard. All the benefits of the Remington 700 lockup with a one piece forged steel bolt. Also a flat bottom receiver with massive integeral recoil lug.
Stock is a Bell & Carlson Medalist with the aluminum block. Bedded by RW Snyder for a 308 heavy Howa, same profile as the 243. CDI bottom metal was also inletted by Snyder. Includes the Seekins sling rail, no magazine. One ding on the grip. $350 delivered.
Offered separate because this receiver hasn't been milled to accept AI mags. For the action and stock to work in the above configuration the receiver will have to be milled just below the feed ramp to allow the AI mags to seat. CDI Precision can to this no problem. Or take a smidge off the forward top of the magazine. Snyder modified my 308 receiver which was for this stock originally.
