Not sure if there is a grey market for sporting optics like there is for electronics though, sounds like you got a good deal though. A friend got a nice camera that had a warrenty issue that the seller had to clear up with the company less than sixty days after he got it. They fixed it but he had to jump thru hoops, hopefully with optics it wont be a problem.

The listing said full warrenty, but that could just be lip service. Hopefully I won't have to find out.
