since CMP is out of Garands, where is a good place to get one?

Never owned a m1 garand and if general Patton himself said it is a great rifle"the greatest fighting implement ever devised" to be exact i really have began to like them more and more and me about to buy a bolt action in 30- 06 as well it makes perfect sense to get a great battle rifle to compliment it how much am i looking to spend for a decent one a solid and not to banged up model, I'm not talking something collectors grade but a good range,plinking shtf rifle, let me know what you think , thank you god bless

Gunbroker and Auctionarms are alright. Expect to pay top dollar however.

Gunboards.com and AR15.com are both very active marketplaces..

Gunsamerica is good.

You just have to check in a few times a day to see any updated posts with good deals. Then be able to jump right on it without screwing around..

I'm so pleased with my CMP Garand that I'll wait until this Fall to order another one when they get more in.
