Who's got the best deal on 7.62x54r light ball these days? SPG looks like they may be it if you are a club member it can be cheaper...plus the coupons I get emailed to me once in a while.

I'm looking to stock up on ammo for a while. I've only been shooting old bulgarian light ball i paid $25 per 300ish rounds for a few years back

whats the best surp out these days? I've heard good things about the Hungarian but havn't heard so much on the Russian?

I've just got some new 91/30's I need to keep fed is all :thumbup:

yeah SPG is the cheapest i've seen, esp with the club membership and another 10% off via coupon.

forgot to mention, my m44 loves Hungarian, not so great with the Russian copper wash stuff.

Similar question, where can you get light ball that is not corrosive? Everything I see is 174 Gr and up?

You'll pay for the privilage of non corrosive ammo..that being said I dunno

I would go with aim, may stop over there some weekend otherwise shipping and tax may kill me since I'm in Ohio

I think its cheaper for me to go with SPG
