Hi, all:

Looking for a CETME or HK wood buttstock assembly, complete with guide rod, spring, and retainer, buffer, buttplate, etc.

Interested in complete assembly only. If you know where I can get it, post that too.

I just bought a nice G3 wood set from Robert RTG $35.00. Very nice set, all metal and a pistol grip.

Thanks for the referrals guys.
I do have some, but all that I have left are on the rough side. The metal is missing finish, the wood has dings and the recoil rods are wobbly. The good news is that the price reflects the condition: $19.00, shipped.

The picture on my site pretty much represents the condition.
Here's a link. http://www.gearshanty.com/shooting-1.htm

Thanks,
Bill

affect the operation of the thing? Also, I have the lather HK sling, so I might need an HK wood back instead of CETME...

Seattlefungus. How was the sping tension and the buffer? Was it better or worse for felt recoil than your previous setup?

I've got green G-3 plactic buttstock now, but I think wood would make for a nice looking rifle. (I blame it on my soviet rifle addiction as of late...SKSs and mosins...lotsa wood.)

I'll look at my CETME parts kit when I get home in a week or so, if you are still hunting one.

It felt only slightly more authoritive... Not big really, like an M1 Garand.
