I'm getting one for my Cetme but I'm not sure if it's worth $30 for like new vs good used shape.... anybody seen both?

i usually just pay the difference .
in the long run $30 is only about $1 a day for a month or about the cost of a coke out of a coke machine for 30 days :icon_biggrin:
how long do you plan on keeping the stock?

I see your point but $30 is 2 boxes of ammo, a new stock set,a wide forestock, a scope mount,etc.... If the only thing different is the metal finish worn off a little I have duracoat to fix that but of they are well worn then the $30 is well worth it.

i have not see any that were not in very good shape. if your concerned about the cost and are able to make the repairs, then i guess i would go with the $30 less one.
still you choice.

I had a used HK collapsible stock but I bought it off a member on the HKPro forum.
Something to keep in mind is that depending on your CETME's receiver the collapsible stock may or may not fit. It should be ok if its the stamped receiver and I believe its the cast stainless steel receiver because its thicker, with the issues.
Last thing I should mention is that thing is not the most comfortable stock to use. Theres a reason its affectionately called the "meat grinder".

I actually enjoyed the shoulder bruising my rifles gave me, kind of their way of telling me "We work!". At the same time though I try to minimize it using limb savers now and then.
I don't want shoulder problems when I'm older.

that reminds me of my favorite uncle i had that was dying. we were all in his room at the hospital waiting for him to go.
he was laying there not moving, eyes closed, but still breathing on his own.
i move around to the end of the bed and kicked the trash can over and he woke up and asked what that noise was.
i said i had kicked over the trash can.
he started to laugh and said to me " i am the one here that is suppose to be kicking the bucket."
he died later that night. he had a dry sense of humor to the end. i sure do miss him to this day.

lol I'm sure will end up with the like new one... I'm trying really hard to talk my self in to the cheaper one because I'm going to try and find a HK p7 at this weekends gunshow, I have a 91/30 44 Izzy ex sniper on the way and If it's a good shooter I'm going to return back to PU status with original parts. I need to save all the $ I can to fund all my little projects....
because I'm going to try and find a HK p7 at this weekends gunshow,
I wish you the best of luck in finding one xD, mine is the nicest pistol I've ever owned or shot.

I had a chance to buy a P7 ( never used) a few years back for $600 but I had just bought my PS90 and didn't have the $$$. About the stock, I found some new in the plastic wrap for $189. ($8 S&H) www.copesdistributing.net. I was looking for the rear tang screw from my PSL when I found them. Love the prices I just hope the stock and shipping times are as good.

Got the stock today! It was in a sealed bag and in paper like my unused HK mags. It was dated " Mai 1989". I got it out and worked it a few times (very stiff) after I oiled it and got it working good I shave the o ring and put it on my Cetme. It fits and works great! It looks like it will be a pain in the as...er...arm when shooting but damn it looks cool! lol +1 for Copes Distributing!
