My favorite bubba is built on an Indian Enfield no.1 mk.3.
Believe it or not this thing is bang on accurate at 100 yards with the iron sites! I will bring it to the Fl. shoot.

The one I have looked like this when I got it - still with compass, fishing line and matches in the buttstock.

Seeing it was already Bubba'd beyond reair I bleached the wood to get a uniform color then added the faux tiger stripes, (the furniture was terribly mismatched because of the different woods used)
, I put a comfortable sling on it for 'Hog days" it is a bit hefty after a while :)

what kind of mags does it take?

It takes the Ishapore Enfield mags, (.308/7.62x51) you can squeeze 11 rounds in them.

I like it! I have a K31 project I have been playing around with I would like to do something real similar, I have built it from different parts so no numbers match anyway.
