Okay so i am thinking about trying my first build (Should be easy with all the help to be found here) So here is the dilema do i build a Cetme or G3??? I have a ORF flat but cant seem to find any cheap cetme kits anywhere? I know the G3 kits are more expensive but the ones i find are about the same price. I can just peice it together slowly since i am in no rush (i drive truck over the road ) so this would be in my little spare time. So any cheap kits out there? Or should i just peice this build together and do it all my way :)

I'd agree, I love my Cetmestein but a G3 is more recognizable by most folks.

G3, more parts availability.

I vote G3, same build, same quality, same accuracy, better long term parts availability.

Thanks for all the input:rockon: that was the way i was leaning towards. I think i will slowly piece it all together with parts rather than buy a kit. So i suppose its time to order some g3 parts

I think its cheaper to buy a parts kit than to get individual parts.
I remember pricing it out.....bolt and carier alone was worth the kit price.

I'd say a G3 also. I haven't seen any GOOD cheap CETME kits for a long time.
