Anyone know of an online how-to for a complete assembly of a 1911?

Depending on how "done" the kit your starting on is..If its like a sarco kit you should be able to drop in most parts and maybe file a few to fit. I've only done slides and not entire guns from just parts. Soooo I'll field this Q to somebody else :sterb029:

I recently received the 1911 .45 gunsmith course from The American Gunsmith Institute. I learned a lot and it will guide you through a whole build as well as teach you how to do a trigger job on it.

There are three courses. Course 1 is for a shop with a lot of tools like a mill.
Course 2 is what I have and it's perfect for a builders kit from SARCO where the kit is 99% finished. Course 3 is for building a wide body with a double stack mag.

Course 2 is hard to beat. Thought it was great.
