Wolf 7.5x55 Swiss

Anybody tried it yet? Fleet's got it here in town and I'm running short on the surplus stuff... Just wondering if anybody's tried it out yet, and if they have, if there was any big change in point of impact.

I have shot the wolf through my 1911 though I havnt done serious target work yet but It goes boom..and its reloadable...

I've run almost nothing but Wolf through my WASR's, just wondering how the Swiss is in K31s.

My understanding is the Wolf 7.5x55 is made by Prvi Partisan. It is said to be good stuff. I have only shot GP11 and my own reloads so i can only go by what others have said.

its good stuff ,i've read the surplus is a little more accurate but i've never fired any surplus ,just wolf gold ,it shoot outstanding out of my k31

My K31 is more accurate with Wolf Gold 7.5 swiss...

I shoot it solely. started out with GP-11, but I wanted reloadable brass, and that is pretty much my only choice around here except the occasional weird box at the gun shop.

Wolf Gold IS Prvi Partisan, and it burns fairly clean, and is every bit as "match grade" as the original swiss surplus. The brass is really good stuff too.

I believe that the entire Wolf "Gold" line is made in by them(or by some one in either yugoslavia or a former part of the country). Wolf is just picking the stuff up and importing it. Most of the Prvi Partisan stuff came here if I am remembering right in the blue and white boxes.

Thats what I had heard too, but Im skeptical. Ive shot Prvi Partisan in my K31 and it didnt shoot near as well as Wolf Gold. Could have been coincedence I guess, but I started thinking maybe Wolf was just buying prvi brass and loading their own.

I may have gotten a cheaper box of Prvi back in the day too... I dont know which box color is their best grade, but the Wolf Gold shoots better than any surplus anything Ive ever shot. I think I got something like 3/4" 100 yard groups in my scoped K31.

Think I may pick up a box this weekend and see what it does at 200 yards... haven't shot long range in a while, so I just feel the need to sit down and do some zen shooting, and hopefully relax a bit before finals next week.

i will confirm that, yes the wold GOLD is made by PRVI in serbia
