Hi all. I live in the Augusta area and i've been trying to get this G3 parts kit built and i've just finished pressing the barrel, so now I need to have it endmilled/drilled/reamed. I took it to a machine shop and they told me they couldn't do it because it was illegal since they didn't have a gunsmithing license (that doesn't make sense). Then I called Blankenship Custom Firearms and he said he had all the work he could handle for right now and wouldn't take any new rifles until midsummer. Does anyone know any good gunsmiths that can do this, or any machine shops that will work on firearms? I really need to find someone who can help me. Thanks
