Ok I did a search but nothing came up. A guy has offered some 50bmg brass for sale on another forum and I'm in dire need. I just need to know what the manufacture is on these as I dont recognize them

Edit: And these are US government ordinance plants. Made in 1943 and 1945

Do you think $100 shipped is a good price on these for 150+ pcs? The guy says they are once fired but not tarnished I missed the $.50 a pop boat several months ago and am kicking myself now.

I think thats a ok price? The gun is going to be done in the next few months if I dont mess anything up..Its a bolt action.

WW, sheck this out. He is out of 50 brass right now, but gets it in all the time. He also has bullets for the 50. Check here often and he will do you right. http://www.polygunbag.com/index.html

I'll keep an eye on that thanks very much...I'm sitting on 2000 API's right now although I would like to get some AP's or ball or short range rounds for plinking or just when it is dry.

ww, Last year 150 rounds of us remanufactured stuff was bringing 199 or so, and I didnt think that imported was much behind that but I am not up on the fifty cal stuff as much as other rounds.

Try this guy for reloaded 50 ammo. I bought some from him at Knob Creek. M33 ball, new LC brass, 227 gns. 5010 powder. $2.00 a round. Really nice guy! I bought some API,s same brass for the same price also.

I bought a can of AP off him also at KCR MGS. The brass is LC98, which is a lot newer than any other surplus brass I've seen. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet.
BTW this is not the same operation as the American aka A-Merc ammo at alot of mail order outfits.
