I have been thinking about rear sight options for a cetme other then cutting off the original and welding on a HK G3 sight base to use the G3 drum.
I dont know if its the cold medicine talking i am on but here is what i am thinking.
What if someone could take a simple rear from a M1 carbine , which has all the adjustments, doesnt cost to much. And it looks like it could easily be drilled and pinned in its lower front body of sight apeture to fit in the cetme base , and it looks to have enough of a body to it that you could machine the sides to slip down into cetme rear sight base.
Just measure the proper height of Zero on the cetme sight, get the M1 carbine sight height set and mark, drill, and pin it where it needs to go, then you could mark it yourself for the 200 and 300 yard settings.
It looks like it would not take to much work, just set and pinned at the right height
