Registration Issues - Please Read if you can't see pictures

When you register, we have to approve your account before you are allowed to post. This keeps the spammers away. If you register and are not approved in 12 hours, please PM or Email me so I can manually approve your account.

Once we approve your account, you will receive a second e-mail saying you have been approved.

I want to add if you registar with a fake email address or an email address that has an aggressive spam filter (such as hotmail, yahoo, gmail, etc..) your account will never be approved.

I get reports from the system everyday on email failures of new members like this:

Hi. This is the qmail-send program at ns1.XXXXXXXX.com.
I'm afraid I wasn't able to deliver your message to the following addresses.
This is a permanent error; I've given up. Sorry it didn't work out.

This address no longer accepts mail.

So if you want to be a member here at Militaryfirearm.com, use a good email address.

I will no longer spend my time trying to figure who is legit and who is a spammer. If you use EMAIL.COM, EMAIL.ORG or any other craziness, you will be deleted. I am not going to sell your email address.


ATTENTION TO OUR CHINESE, RUSSIAN, AND EASTERN EUROPEAN SPAMMING FRIENDS:

Give it up, you will not be approved and I just ban your IP subset. At this point there is at least 6 of you a day registaring to sell your drugs and porn and we know it.

I would like to point out that if you use gmail, you can visit the web portal and log in. On the left is a section called "spam".

If you are expecting an approval from the forum, you may check there for it.

At that point, you can tell gmail that it's not spam and you're good to go.

If you use a dedicated client to get your gmail, you'll never see any of what gmail considers 'spam'. You have to log in via the web interface to see it.



I do not use hotmail (nor do I recommend anyone else to use it) or yahoo, but they may have something similar.

The same as Nalioth said, for yahoo, check your spam folder, some times my stuff goes there too. You then can tell yahoo, that email from this adress is not spam.

There is a buddy of mine who got his confirmation email, and he signed up yesterday, goes by the name armor.

He can't login now, but said he was in OK yesterday. Dunno what the prob is. I'll suggest to him that he email youse guys.

Nobody by that name in the member list. If he is trying to join with a gmail or yahoo email addy,he won't get in.
