romak3 vs psl?

Is the romak 3 the same as a romanian psl and if so or not, will the mags interchange?

They're the same. PSL is the actual rifle designation, ROMAK 3/III is done by the importers. There is a .308 version with I believe is also called the ROMAK 3/III or SSG97. The .308 mags are clear plastic and of course wont interchange with a rifle in 7.62x54R.

ROMAK III
SSG97
FPK or FPK Dragunov
Romanian Dragunov

thanx noskov, I thought it was so but I was fuzzy on my recent history of importation and all the crazy designations.

Big is right. Romak 3, SSG, SSg97, they are often pawned off in GB as a "Romanian SVD" -- the last being really misleading as they have nothing in common with the SVD, except looking similar from 20 feet away.
