Can someone tell me why I should not fire this ammo in a CZ 52 or TT 33? Is it the hot load or the hard primers or both? Thank you.

It's the hot load. It batters the gun pretty bad.

I knocked apart several packs and reduced the load by 10%. I then worked loads up by 0.1g intervals. I was not sure if I could still use the brass. Off to the range later today. Thanks

We spent considerable time today check chrono readings for various 7.62 x 25 ammo, including many hand loads through a Wz48. The Bulgarian ammo average was 1463.6 ft/s and the Romanian averaged 1537 ft/s. I am curious as to any other data people may have collected. This certainly does not indicate to me that Bulgarian ammo is a hot load. Any thoughts? Thanks

Might just be the year/lot. I know the site I read had the warning for a certain headstamp. Use the search feature as I just asked the question in March I believe.

The PPSH site had a warning against some Bulgarian 7.62x25 that was evidently geared up for the PPSH and not for pistols
I have shot Romanian and Yugo through my VZ52 with no issues
I am still waiting for my PPSH semi to come back to see how it does
