it was a good morning. went to a local shop, and the owner, who has been a friend for many years greeted me and asked if i still wanted to buy his h&k 91. it was good timing and time not to let this one get away.:nonono:

just got done with a clean and check. bolt gap is a loose 18 tight 19. the bore is like new as is the bolt carrier locking piece and bolt. i don't believe the rifle has been fired much.:icon_biggrin:

it has the wide forearm that looks to me like it holds the bipod. of course there is not one on it. my luck. any one have one or ideas where to look?

I know the feeling...I need a video camera and DSLR upgrade but I got a rifle instead also...and overpaid probably but what can you say when the itch hits at the same time the money does! YA JUST GOTTA SCRATCH IT!!!:airtight::2pistol::rockon:

I thought it was my glasses:eek:.....Since you brought it up, what do the markings say? I'm always curious about by who, and where, they are made....especially those that are that nice. I notice it has a Brit FCG housing.

Lol...I went out and bought a nice DSLR camera thinking I'd magically become some great photographer... my pictures still suck. Just not quite as bad. I need to take a class on how to use that thing.
