Hi Guys, The other day I finally took my CETME out to play, and found that at 100 yards I was on the paper, but in a line up and down left of center. When I looked for my front sight tool, I realized that I had left it and my other tools at home. When I did find it, I couldn't remember how to sight in the front, and this info is not in the CETME care amd operations hand book that came with it, nor in the HK G3 booklet I have since I had a HK rear Drum sight put on. I haven't been able to find any sighting info on any of the stickies on this or any other CETME forum or any owners manuals on line. Could someone, please help refresh my poor old memory? Thanks.

Loosen the set screw on the front post. Looking down from the top, you will note the sight post is offset. That is your windage adjustment.
Since you are hitting left of POA, you want to move the post more to the left, if it is not there already. That will move the POI to the right.
Screwing the post in and out also will change your elevation, but not enough to make a huge difference.
When you are done, retighten the screw to hold it in place.
If you find that there isn't enough adjustment in the post, you'll have to move the entire triple frame, which is soldered to the barrel. I think there is a how to in the FAQ.....
I see you mentioned a rear G3 sight? If so, then you can just adjust your windage there. It can also be moved to change elevation instead of the front post.

If you've got a G3 drum, just center the front sight, and adjust the rear... after all, that really is the only + that the G3 drum has over the Cetme paddle. Sight pictures are the same on both.
