I am so proud to have grown up when money had some real value to back it up...Now it is backed only by hot air and dreamy promises from those with their backs to our heritage.
I found a bag of this stuff tucked away long ago and it got me to thinking about things today..Pride and honor had meaning...America made history with apologies to none...Our young men sacrificed their lives by the thousands to save countries which appreciate nor deserve the freedoms they restored to them....etc.

Nice find!
I really like the design of the Liberty dime. What does the reverse side look like?

We have lost a lot...
There have been some positive changes too, but some of the most needed changes ended up going waaaaay too far. Like progressing from women being second class citizens to equals in the workplace, but then... A movement to preferential treatment and an entitlement attitude on the part of some, which unfortunately is often backed up by wacko courts and judges. Same for Blacks, Native Americans, and other minorities--needed change which went on to radicalism.
Don't get me started...
I do think there is hope, but possibly not in the form we "angry white males" want or expect. And for anyone here who is a minority but conservative and hardworking and believes in liberty without license, I include you with us awm's.

Cool coins.
I miss the Australian 1 and 2 cent coins - we scrapped them 20 years ago.

At the rate we're going we may have to scrap everything under a twenty in a few years, or start pushing wheelbarrows around to carry the stuff.
At one time, when I was in my late twenties, I had a hundred and a fifty from the teens that I had kept for a number of years....Got drunk and spent them in a Mexican whorehouse. At least I had managed to exchange them for something of real value. Good memories are worth more than gold anyway.
