Since the first replacement surgery, to fight boredom (and since I don't have any paychecks coming it) I've been trading guns with my gun dealer. Its kind of like we're just trading inventories; his for mine and vice a versa. One of the guns I've traded for is an M&P15 .22.

I didn't shoot the S&W until last so I was starting to feel the pain and discomfort in my knees so I rushed through it. First range trip for me is to make sure the gun functions and will hit the target; not ready to shoot one hole groups. I took 3 different ammos with me today - didn't get to the Remington; the Ely Sport is a big negative - made the gun into a single shot, very light primer strikes on the round chambered after one round is shot. The CCI Blazers ran like a champ; I've never rapid fired a .22 rifle as fast as I did the M&P. I shot around 30 rounds before the body said stop; standing at 10 yards. Like I said, I wasn't going for single hole groups. The gun did shoot low and I didn't have anyway to adjust the front sight so I need to work on that next time out. Here's my target:

No surprises, a basic M&P 15 .22.

I like my little tactical .22s; I have a GSG5 Pistol; Colt M4 .22; Professional Ordnance Carbon 15 .22, and am waiting for a SigSauer 522 to trade for.

I've been having pretty good luck with mine. Occasional mag induced failures to feed, but that's kinda expected in a .22lr semi. I've got some better pics somewhere, but meh.

your problem may be the snow...heh heh heh

I had read they were ammo sensitive - the Ely Sport must not be zippy enough - but the CCI was OK.

I've run Federal and Winchester bulk with little to no problem in mine. Haven't tried the Blazer, the stuff they've been putting out the last year or so is heavily coated in wax, and my GSG will stop working right after just a couple mags of it, so my stock of it has been relegated to the bolts and lever action guns.
Do keep away from the Remington Gold Bullets though, they're by far the worst as far as reliability goes, and have been known to cause serious leading issues in the GSGs (nearly total obstruction and possibly responsible for a couple KBs.)

As far as the snow, it was actually pretty warm that day.

Have you guys ever shot this ammo? Never seen any thing like it. I don't know how it performs.

I want to get a .22 conversion kit for my AR-15. I also want a GSG. Story of my life.

I have both Colibri and Super Colibri. Very quiet ammo; but it isn't intended to be used in semi-auto rifles - recoil not strong enough to cycle the bolt and the round may not clear the barrel. It works as a single shot; but it is better in revolvers...
