I started this build about a year ago, purchased a smith lower and got the parts kit from JandTdistributing.com. Finally ordered my upper from delton 3 months ago and today received it finally. Its a 20 inch with a A2 style buttstock phantom flash/compensator on the muzzle end. M4 feed ramps and a continuous rail on top with the quad rails being a yhm extended diamond free float quadrails. Fits very well I installed the trigger myself so I'll find out tomorrow if it works. It was alot of fun and I plan to make many more once I can afford another on my minimum wage salary. It cost me 950.00 all in all and it does sport a magpul MOE grip as well. Getting the rear sight tomorrow.

Nice AR. Going iron sights only for now or optics?

It looks good and I think you will get more pleasure out of it because you built it rather than bought it off a rack...

I'm gonna put some sort of optics on it once i get the money in order. For now I'm gonna master the irons cause I figure that is the best thing to do.

Gene Stoner would be proud of your project...nice work. I endorse working to master the irons first. I have always believed that.

the case is a pelican 1750 I drew around the rifle laying on the foam and cut out the outline with a elec turkey knife

If i ever get to build another one I will put a Super Sniper scope on it

The rifle after all was said and done cost me $1800 . It has a custom bolt group and jewel trigger.

The barrel If I recall is a Shillen or something it's been a long time. It's a air gauged fluted barrel
