Thank goodness Texas does not have any crap like FOID's. My daughters both have .22's and got them when they were less than 5. I bought them hearing protectors when they could walk and invited them to shoot (on the back of my property) every time. They usually declined but, when they found out how much fun it was to "pull" the skeet thower, they were hooked. They shoot on occasion and out do the boys at the summer camp.

Thats kind of neat. But I'm glad Oregon does'nt require any kind of card or registration.

LESS GOVERNMENT REGULATION IS GOOD!!!

Although when buying a gun from a dealer you do have to go through a background check with the state police, which also requires the serial # of the gun. But any private citizen can sell one to any other private citizen with no regulations. But still!!

How is that right? The whole Foid card thing is a bunch of BS!

I almost agree, its bs that you need a card at all for this sort of thing.

A FOID?????????????????????

I'm afraid I wouldn't live in such a restrictive environment.

I can bet, though, some group will be screaming child abuse bu letting Bubba near a gun.

Man, I live in Illinois, one mile from Missouri as the crow fly's and have a FOID:rolleyes: , The whole reason for the stupid thing's is Chicago and there suburb's. They rule this state and what goes on there is forced upon the rest of the state, or at least they try. If it get's too bad, Missouri is real close and wouldn't be too hard to pack up, sell the house and say, back to Missouri !!!
