Howdy
I was wondering who sells RPK-74 mags inexpensively. I'm not wanting 'collector mags', just mags for shootin'

Thanks

Yes, the 45 round RPK-74 mags. I"ve got plenty of 30s.

If you find a source, after you get what you need, post it here, I would like a few just for the sar-2 and maybe to see if I can fit one to the 223 rifles.

They should work fine for the .223, if you mod the inner feed lip area or use a dedicated .223 follower.

Now we wait for information :)

Does Ohio Rapid Fire still have them? I remember seeing them on their site a while back.

Thanks ORF is proud of their stuff. I'm thinking somebody has some run-through-the-ringer mags from East Germany or something. You know, the ones that look like they've been through the dog, but work just fine?

I really don't want to pay $100 for a magazine.

Steely, those are 7.62x39 mags. I'm looking for 5.45x39.

"I was wondering who sells RPK-74 mags inexpensively. I'm not wanting 'collector mags', just mags for shootin",... nalioth, try Vector Arms. Ask to speak with Rex, he's the GM, and very nice guy to deal with. Last time I checked, they had some Russian, and Bulgarian ones. I lucked out and got a sweet Russian Molot one with my Bulgarian RPK-74. I'm not sure what they'll want for them, but it's worth a try.
