Aim alway's seems to have what I want, when I need it. J&G Sales has there's priced at $176.90 for 1000rds of FMJ or HP Wolf, that's getting a little nut's.

With J&G watch the sales, they put that on closeout in two weeks and it's 25% less. (Bought 2 beaut M44's with matching numbers, sweet for 59.00 each) Now they have em for 99.00.

I pulled a fast on on She who must be Obeyed. I put an expanded desktop on my workbench. Gave me 10 inched behind the bench. It stacks 20 full size ammo cans with repacks for 30.06 M1, 7.62X51, 5.56, 7X62X39, M1 Carbine, 5.45X39. All she sees is my pistol ammo boxes on the sheelve.. Not the 30 ammo cans

In the latest Shotgun News, Gulf Cost Ammunition has Wolf 122gr Classic for $120/1000. Not much listed on their website, except for an 800-number.

Good Luck.

If you can find Wolf for under 150 that's an AWESOME DEAL! Most of the time the shows out here it never drops below $175/1000. Even that's a good deal compared to SA 7.62x51 :(
That Gulf Coast ad is a couple of years old and they just haven't changed their ad. They won't honor the price in the ad (not even close). Don't you love it when people rain on the parade?

Under one fifty is a good buy right now, before there was such a demand on the world market the stuff used to be less than half of that(I imagine its also the strength of the dollar vs the euro). We were complaining just a year or two ago about these prices for 7.62x51 surplus not 7.52x39, boy how times change, Ron told all of us to buy ammo when we could.
FYI remember how many folks were crying for the better part of a year for their backorders from sportsman guide when the supply dried up and they kept delaying and delaying delivery. Heck part of wolf bringing back the military classic maybe to allow suppliers to say the backordered ammo aint there but still have different stock numbered wolf to deliver.

if you find it for 160USD afer shipping is figured in, you did good. I got 500rnds of Wolf Mil Classic JHP 123gr. for $75, at a gunshow, and considered meself lucky. The Gander Mtn in town sell the Wolf Black box JHPs for 4bux per 20rounds....ouch!
(Man..now 4bux per 20 for 762NATO IS a good price these days)

I was reading an old shotgun news while I was doing some "paperwork" in my "office" the other day and saw the 762nato ads selling 1k for $100. Those were the good old days. Too bad that was only 2 years ago.

Yeah, I agree with Steelcore. Outdoor Marksman sets up at our shows. No shipping and no sales tax. Only way to catch a decent deal...

saw 7.62x39 wolf here at the gun shows lately for 200.00-215.00/1000 and 5.00/20. damn near cried. got a case delivered from Outdoor Marksman for 185.00 last week. Still what I consider high, but better than locally.
