personally, if CAI built it i wouldnt want that chamber that close to my face, your cheek would be right on top the chamber almost!

i think this would definately be bad to shoot if you value your face and are a lefty!

Yeah, but the FAMAS (http://world.guns.ru/assault/as21-e.htm) was built that way. The above is a "lets shoehorn an AK action into a bullpup configuration" move on the marketers...

CHEESE AND RICE people chose the right tool for the job..... If you need a Bull Pup a hand gun would also probably do the trick or a tactical shotgun?????? The chinese have built a ak bull pup, and imported a few, that is like it has been said, a shoehorn ak into a bull pup. The made bullpups look much better.

Bullpups weren't originaly intended for CQB, they were thought up for mechanized troops. Dealling with a full length rifle in an APC really sucks, trust me.

-->I dunno ... my current house gun is an AK with JHPs, after seeing that they mushroom real good (tested in dirt and in mud at 50yd), I don't think they'd ovrpenetrate, but would make an uninvited guest sit down.

That is the infamous K-var conversion kit that was making the rounds a couple years ago. Seems like the kit sold for $250 or so?
