I know I saw somewhere the license was to be signed in red or blue?/black? but I don't remember and I can't find where it says. I know I probably read right over it or my memory has shorted out. What difference it makes, I don't know.

SS Signing any document in red or blue ink indicates that it is the actual document signed (faxed documents usually black and white).

I'm 95% sure the ATF reg says signed in ink....not colored ink.

It's on-line businesses that want the off color to know it's an original signature.

BATFE doesn't care as long as it's ink.

Just got my ATF news letter says new ffls coming out this year with a wallet ID and an easier to copy/read FFL.. If and you can email either a digital photo of signed FFL or An Adobe Acrobat digital version instead of a FAX...

I had a "what the hell what was I thinking" day today with my 03. I recieved the change of address form I sent out to the ATF earlier this week. I mistakenly addressed the envelope to my new address. I stopped by to drop off some more crap and saw it in the mail. Must have been pretty distracted when I addressed it.

I saw no "easier to read" with my renewal copy I received a month or so ago.

I also didn't receive any wallet sized copy.

Perhaps they might send something else later on.

Locally my CCW card does as much so I use that.
