i don't know crap about them but can write a book on match 223 ammo . so help me out here guys .. i don't want to load 700 of them and just to find out that i am zombie bait ......

cause if i become a zombie I'm blaming someone on this form ....

I have a bunch as well. Very light crimp. were used to shoot at towed targets back in the day. I guess ya need to load some and try it out on watermelons.

the published data for them recommends to load them very light. it claims that high velocities will cause them to break apart upon firing.

i have done tests, and i have loaded them full power in a 308 with a clean hole in paper at 50 yd.

they will not, however hold together in a full power 300wm load. disintegrated at the muzzle.

just my observations in what ive learned from them, ymmv, proceed with caution. let us know what you come up with.

I worked up a load for them in .308. I will have to check my notes when I get home. I used 125 gr starting loads and found one that worked well.
