View Full Version : Centerfire PSL Parts Kits

I called yesterday and ordered the parts kit, reciever (w/matching trunnions), some additional magazines, and a scope mount. I was told they had to ship the parts kit and reciever separately. That was okay. Then they told me that the parts were out of stock now, but should be back instock soon. When I pressed her about what soon actually meant, she said she didn't know. Does this mean their original supply has already been bought out, or did they advertise them before they actually came in? Has any one else placed and order and gotten similar or differnt feedback? I hate it when I get the bug for something and get the wife to okay the allocation of funds, then I am told I have to wait! Heck I even went out and bought 500rds of 7.62x54R Light Ball yesterday. Anyways....

Honestly with CFS it is hard to tell. I don't think they have had them in yet.

I ordered a M4 upper from FAC a long time ago, and well to make the story shorter then the wait time for it, it took about three or four months to get it with me calling a least once a week and them telling me "oh, we'll have it next week" But yeah they advertise stuff without knowing if they have it or if they are are going to get it soon. I had alot of problems with CFS and have never bought from them again.

Yah. I called yesterday too. I do think they addvertised before they had them, but was told that the parts were in transit.

I can live with a week or two wait. I just wanted to prepare myself if it was going to be a few months.

Did they charge your card up front, or say they would wait until it ships?

They have always been upfront with me and never charged my card until the item was actually in the mail to me. I have a Yugo underfolder I'm on the list for right now.

I was on one of thier waiting lists a while back for one of thier romy-AK kits. It took three months.
