Had my son's grad/going away party ( Ft. Benning bound) this weekend. An old army buddy (from the 80s) attended. Knowing we have a range here he brought some new firearms he had recently purchased and I got to shoot them. Thought Id pass on what I would call a great morning on the range. NIB XDM in 45 acp. Shot like a champ. Very accurate. Once it is really broke in should be a tack driver. S&W M&P 9mm long slide. Its almost like shooting a 22 LR. Very accurate. FN semi-auto 12 gauge shot gun. Very little recoil,, excellent sights, great w/slugs or buck. Desert Eagle in 44 mag. If you have hands the size of snow shovels and an 8 foot frame it might be a good carry gun. I was able to shoot it better than any 44 revolver but it was a hand full. And last but not least a Sig P-225. It was very pleasant to shoot and extremelly accurate. Other then seeing my youngest leave it was a great weekend on the range.
