here are 2 of the 3 that i built. the last one that is my buddies is the nicest. one of mine has a dudes name on it and my buddies has a dude too. lol. these shoot very well also. one is better than the other but for a kit reweld they both are great shooters.

Turbo, what's involved in building one of these? Do you use an AK stamped receiver and weld parts of it to the original milled parts that are left?

Ron, you are without a doubt THE MAN! Some day I would like to see all your weapons in one pile. I bet you would too so you can check out all the ones you have forgot about.

first one i built using 1.5" square tube and then i used a receiver flat and the final one was the framing square trick. very fun to reweld these!

i got it...........

yugo RPK, as new a rifle as you can get in military surplus. new barrel, stocks refinished, completely reparked, overall a very nice weapon. it does not have the yugo factory information ground off like many of them do. it has a D.C.I. receiver and it was build by century. it came with 2 40 round mags, (i think they are coming with 1 30 round mag now). it has a low 3 diget serial number.
the one in the first thread is the one i built last year. it is a sweet shooter.

if i was going to purchase an ak for an investment i would buy one of these. they are running around $750 to $850. i don't know how many more are left at the wholesalers. i have sold several of these and everyone that has gotten one loves there. i got this one from a dealer that had put this one back to keep for hmself, so i owe him now.

i have seen a couple of the romanian RPK's but nothing i was ready to buy yet.

here it is. YUGO RPK>
