View Full Version : Once again... T-shirts?

I think we need some new shirts with the forum name.
I also want to make a few t-shirts for myself over the immigration junk and politics. And of course, firearm rights.:America:
I've seen shirts I would like at different websites but shipping adds up real quick with one or two shirts here and one there. Maybe if we could do a group buy they could do a price break.
Anyone interested?

Hey, what about military-ish stenciled letters - kinda like above - but make them look "distressed", like on an ammo box - Ya know what I mean??? That across the back with smaller version, or something else small on the front. Just simple...
Sadly, I had to ditch my CorelDraw program recently or else I'd offer a layout...

That post above reminds me of the new bi-partisan bumper sticker for Hillary '08 -
"Run, Hillary, Run"
Yeah, Democrats put it on the back bumper, the rest of us on the FRONT!

Any quotes or ideas for pics? I know Henry has to have some good pics to work with.

I also like these quotes. Many of them are used here.
"The most foolish mistake we could possibly make would be to permit the conquered Eastern peoples to have arms. History teaches that all conquerors who have allowed their subject races to carry arms have prepared their own downfall by doing so."
Adolph Hitler: April 11, 1942.
"They who give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety." - Benjamin Franklin
"The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good." - George Washington
"A fear of weapons is a sign of retarded sexual and emotional maturity." - Sigmund Freud" (This quote would be good with a pic of an AK or nearly any gun with a "large capacity ammunition feeding device")
The laws that forbid the carrying of arms, disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes." - Thomas Jefferson
"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence ... From the hour the Pilgrims landed, to the present day, events, occurrences, and tendencies prove that to insure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable . . . The very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that is good" (George Washington)

It has been a while but iirc when you set up cafee press they give you a list
Item Cost Price
T-shirt 12.50 ______
Coffee Mug 3.75 ______
Mouse pad 4.25 ______
When you set up your "shop" you fill in the blanks and by setting the price over the cost the "shop owner" makes a profit.

I would like something with a really sexy nose art type gal on it..kinda like the shoot1919a4.com sticker girl. But with a AK-47 or similar weapon..
I know theres alot of ideas here almost too many to do a single run. In my experience you have to have at least 12 orders to do a run.

Spanish Fly, or CETME Wood shirts would be cool.
But I don't want to isolate the other types of guns here either.
Maybe just a nose art pinup without the gun, "Some of the Other good things to come out of WWII"

since we last sporke of tshirts...I like the ones that say "Celebreate Divrsity" and have a ton of diff types of rifles/pistols on them.
"military-ish stenciled letters - kinda like above - but make them look "distressed"
--->this idea me likey.
So, whos gonna be the hi-res art-monkey? IN the end they'll prolly get to say what goes...along with our fearless leader
Or how about a collage of all our avatars, about 1-2 inches square, with the "MilitaryFirearms" stencil letters across it all?

I did the shirts over at the Gunboards Cetme forum. If memory serves me I was able to sell them shipping included for about $15 each. However a new person owns the printshop I used so I don't know if prices went up. Anyone who has one knows they are good shirts.

LOL
Ok so we need to get a idea as to what we want...
Do we want a picture? if so what size how big # of colors
Do we want words..If so what size and style....
The shirts themselves....I like the nice cotton shirts that are soft and thin (just like me )
I enjoy the "celebrate diversity" shirts but those have been done.
What kind of statment are we looking at making? Do we want to advertise or do we want to just make a political statment? I think it should be some original work. Something that you would want your kids to TRY and wear to school...I got away with my gun shirts at school..most of them just had lettering on them though and no pictures of firearms.
What kind of rifles are those in the picture of violet? I want to say enfeilds but I'm only 82.7% sure on that

I prefer the 'good girl art' approach. A 'good girl' in front of a gun cabinet full of representative firearms, while holding a Cetme.
Or dig up the ol' cetmerifles idea and put a 'militaryfirearm.com' logo somewhere on it.. ..

Of all the ones looked at, (and they are ALL nice) I think that the Marine, and the Girl with a BAR are the least racy so would work well for the shirts.
the others are a bit naughty to wear in public (not that I would not buy large prints to put up around the gun room)
Just my opinion....
