Guys I'm thinking of letting my PE sniper all matching serial numbered rifle go. Even the bayo is serialed numbered the same as well as the scope mount. Well should I or should I not. I want to finish my AR build and either get a PSL or a FAL. What say you???

You should sell it, and let me know first. ;)

All matching #'s, original PE? Keep it. Find another way to get that other stuff.

Your scope mount is serialed, is the scope as well, or is it a repro scope?

I would keep it as well, although I would be interested if you decide to sell.
AR parts are all over, and will most likely be that way for a while. PSL's are pretty cheap right now, and prices on FAL's haven't hit outrageous yet. Tough to get rid of something that would be hard to replace, but on the other hand, if it hides in the safe, and you'd give it up for something you'd shoot, sell it. Just make sure it's not something you will regret. For me, if I'm on the fence post, I don't sell a gun. I figure if there's any doubt in my mind, I'll probably regret the sale at some point.

I think the scope may be a repro but everything else is original . I have put 1 box of wolf gold thru it and it held a 1 inch group at 100 yards. How can you tell if the scope is a repro or not??? This is a tough decision. Its a Tula factory weapon with the CH stamp on it. Why do we torture our selves like his???

If it were mine I'd hang onto it like my favorite dog or a good woman but if you are really having doubts I can hang onto it, give it plenty of fresh air and exercise and give it back to you when you come back to your right mind. You are going to let a M91 go for a 16?:nonono::nonono::nonono::nonono:and a sniper at that.
What year is it just out of curiosity.

Checked today and its a 1940 Tula factory gun. The finish on the barrel has been painted when it was redone at the factory, near as I can tell.

You are probably familiar with this page then, you must have one of the last rifles made that year because the stopped making them in 1940 for a couple of years. Sounds like that gun has some history on its bones.
