My first true Ground up AR build finally is up and shooting. I built a 16" bull barrel on a Tactical Machine lower, DPMS parts kit, Tapco stock and pistol grip, UTG 4 rail fore end, Chip McCormick 2 stage trigger, and 3-10x40mm scope. Took it to the range Saturday and broke it in. It shot very well especially with my handloads. Seems to like the Hornady 60gr HP the best. The left target was Hornady 50gr V-max and measured .672", the group on the right was Hornady 60gr HP and measured .463"! Fmj stuff averaged about 1.25" groups. I am very happy with the results. Look out coyotes.

Thanks Ron. I am proud of it, I think it looks good. But more importantly it shoots like I wanted it to. Was it Col. Whelen or P.O. Ackley that said only accurate rifles are interesting? I couldn't agree more. This rifle will do better I think. Heck the barrel really is not broken in yet, as it has only 35 rounds through it. I need some heavier match grade bullets to try in it. I will have to get some to load up.:icon_biggrin:
