Is this some sort of code? Or are you talking about an actual drain?

No Woodman in the east we have this horrible tool known as the snake.
It is hard to use , gets stuck easy.. but you can get that drain unclogged with it.

We had to do that often enough in one of the houses where we lived in Tucson, that I had my own snake for a while. Rooted out one nasty mass of hair, and my wife found an earring she'd lost 6 months before, hanging on the end of the snake when we pulled it out.... eeeewww!
Didn't keep the snake though, you don't want to be the guy in your social circle who owns one of those - end up getting calls :D

I got to do that for a living once, for a short period in my life. It's one of those jobs that isn't any more pleasant when you get paid for doing it. But being able to do it yourself is more pleasant than paying someone else for it. It's just one of those kind of jobs. Because of that, when I built my house I'm in now, I went the extra expense of making sure I had a clean out outside the perimeter of the house also.....why most homes have it only inside is a mystery to me.

BLADE, mine has a clean out OUT SIDE, but not 1 inside. I did add 1 after I replaced pipes inside. It might be hard to see in the pic , but it is aganst the wall.Oh U can see it. I have 1 at the other and under the toilet too.
