What's the going rate for one of these?

I'm wanting to take the next step now that I have a WASR-10 and Yugo M70 under my belt...

Hmmm, far more than what I want to get into one, they are collectable, thus two to three times of what a mak 90 converted is, I have seen seven hundred and up and up on them, and I havent looked into one much lately.

Guy had one in dallas at that last show I was at and everybit of 950 I think, didnt look too long at the price tag.

I found a real nice one. Clean bore. Very good condition. $925 including the FFL fee.

All and all, I'm inclined to say that this is just too much for what it is....

Longhorn, I got my mak 90 in 223 with three high cap mags(the harder thing to find for this thing) for 450 out the door. I have been able to find 7.62x39 mak-90's with thumbhole for under two fifty, thus I hate to think about paying three and a half times, for a rifle that just due to pre ban status, is that price. I know the package is that you get the underfolding bayonet, and on the mak all you can do is to 922r conversion to make it look military. I guess if you want a collector, that would be a way to go though, a shooter, I would save the money though.

BTW, the early ak eastern bloc bayonets will fit most chinese, the detachable ones, that clip to the barrel not needing a bayonet lug. I saw a iraqi bring back after the gulf war, sitting on a mak-90 rpk, the dealer showing how they still fit the rifles even without a lug.

it's not the same thing, the mak stuff is just a look alike and the polytech is the real value. if your not looking for a collector then just go with the mak. you can make it look like the real thing for a lot less money.

i have both kinds and the money is on the polytech, they will be sought after by the collectors. keep looking around there are still a few good buys out there for less than $900, i have seen them in the last few month for around $700.

the polytech legend is going to be the high dollar item, they are running $1500 up on them..

except for the yugo ak rifles, i like the china made ak rifles the best.
