Keep 'em clean, keep 'em working! I like them to look as well as they function. Thanks for commenting on it!

Here's my M48 from AIM. It was a gunsmith special for $59 delivered.
Bore is a little dark and the numbers don't match, but it headspaced fine.

Nice rifles in this post.

I found a few of those sets new but it was a long time ago. They came with bayonets and cleaning kits a sling and ammo pouch.

I shot one one time off the back porch about six rounds. It was light for the 190g German 1960's ammo so I made up ten rounds of 200g Sierra SMK's and some 4895. I had the chance to try three of those and was surprised at the improvment. I only had a 75 yard backstop but the recoil was managable and they all hit the same area just not any where near the point of aim. I changed the sight cover out for the taller G43/MP43 sight hood and the last shot hit just above my aim point. So I still have one I havent shot and one with under 15 shots. I think I will hunt up some 150g Sierra soft points and give it a try.

Thank's for the reminder.
