It just goes to show that some are just too ignorant to appreciate and respect the very symbol of their freedom.
People like that need to live elsewhere...Like someplace with open sewers running down the streets and begging for scraps of food....I'm sorry, but this makes me sick...The judge needs to be removed and sent with them to learn appreciation.

In Portland Oregon you can get arrested for hate speech if you are hurting the lefts feelings, yet they let a guy deficate on our flag as right to speech.

I'd be curious what would happen if people started burning Mexican flags in protest around Texas where it is heavily Hispanic populated.
I find a funeral of anyone much less someone that has given his all a fitting place for any kind of demonstration other than respect. May these inbred halfwits get theirs as they have coming.

The US Flag isn't just a piece of cloth representing our Nation, it represents the principles of what our Nation was founded on...And protesting military funerals...these people fail to realize it's the sacrifice of the men and women in OUR military that gives them their rights to begin with. Somebody please open up a stupid people hunting season...I'll be first in line for that tag!!!!

I can proudly say that the men and women in my family have served this country since the Revolutionary War in some form or fashion. With that said, I can guarantee you one thing...If I see anybody, and I mean anybody, disrespecting the US Flag in any way, shape, or form, I won't hesitate to KTTFO!!!!

Kids getting kicked out of school for wearing an American flag but the illegal aliens can fly the American flag upside down under the American flag because "THEY" have the right to free speech but we don't?

Kid gets told by a security guard he has to remove the American flag from his pickup because the university is a diverse place and it might offend somebody but a faux religious cult can walk on our flag as their right to protest.

This is another old man they would have to haul away screaming, yelling and kicking, but not till I get in some licks with my cane. Don't mess with my mama my God or my flag.

While I find US flag-burning to be both offensive and deserving of a good @$$-kicking, as a freedom-loving American, I honestly can't support any law that prohibits it. As a result, I'm not too upset over the judge's decision.

That said, while I think a man has the right to burn a flag as a form of free-speech, if he gets his @$$ kicked as a result of that exercise of free speech, then well, he should've known better...

Very true but Veterans who have defended those freedoms feel that once they have stood up for others that now their own country and flag should be shown at least a little respect not burned or walked on.Not asking for much,just some respect for the effort given and the human price paid.

I have friends of all political stripes including avowed Communists but they wouldn't burn my flag in a juvenile fit of faux grandiose protest gesture. My flag, my nose, I earned the right to be a little touchy on the subject. These are the same people who burnt their draft cards and shipped themselves off to Canada. They should have stayed there.

Instead Carter forgave them, they came back home, took jobs that should have gone to veterans, took positions in our colleges, universities and ran for political office. Anybody notice a marked swing to the left in our schools and Government since Viet Nam? I have something beyond suspicion for these guys, I have been an IFB for many years, I search the truth out for myself and I have my faith, that being said there is no way these guys are IFB, I smell a rat when it comes to these folks.
They seem to be more of a radical left group to me than any believer I have ever seen, quite possibly doing what they do to bring anti religion laws about and have more left leaning judges try even harder something that is never actually mentioned in our constitution and that is the term "separation of church and state".
