Just want to say thanks for all the info on this site. I've built a ton of weapons in the past but this is my first Cetme. In fact I had never even seen one before building this one. I read through all the information on this site and had a smooth build. By the way the CIA cast stainless receiver was fine and only required a little fitting here and there.

I'm going to put a few hundered rounds through it before I finaly put the finish on it.

looks Very good.
I think it would look awesome, instead of refinishing it to looke brand new, kinda lighty refinish it, so the coloring is patchy and rubbed off looking. You know to give it the been through battle look.

congrats on the build... looks like a CFS kit with the new barrel?

hope it shoots as well as it looks! whatd you end up setting the bolt gap at? and let us know how much it settled in after the break-in.

I do think it looks cool in that unfinished state with the dark wood.... looks like its been in a couple battles.

When I first pined the new barrel I was getting a gap measurement of about .021. I'm glad I kept it at the high end because it now has settled into a gap of about .014 to .015 so I think I'm good. It runs just fine.

Well, She runs real well and I got very lucky with my attaching of the the front sight triple frame. This was the first 45 or so rounds at 93 yards with zero malfunctions. The .45 holes in his chest are from where I had to draw on him when I thought I saw him move...
