from what the gun dealers tell me yes but they also said i could shoot a cetme without a head space

yep, you just have a slightly lower capacity.

A friend has a 6.8 and said the M16 30 rounders hold about 23 to 24 rounds, but are not 100% reliable. Midway USA has 25 round 6.8 spc specific C mags for less than $20, I think.

If anyone has to ask a question like that I would guess the answer would be no...at least that's what was recommended to me on the 68forums. If you go to C-prods website, you can get new SS mags for about 14 bucks.

They work but as I understand not so well, just like .223 in ak mags and other rifles with different calibers.
