So, it's been a while since I've been here, and have yet to post what I've got. I already took care of the rifles, so now it's handgun time. Up first is the standard run of the mill plastic Glock 23 in 40 with the OD frame. Nothing special. Then the Czech 52, in 7.62x25, NIB when I got it. And last but not least in any respect, the blued PPK in 380, because nickel is for movie characters, and I'm not on camera. Still waiting on the Hogue grips that are taking forever to get here. It's not like I wanted scallops and checkering on them or anything.

Nope, but most firearms in movies are flashy and/or nickel plated.

Thanks for the replies, I think I'm set on pistols at this point. Any of the three could be my CC pistol, but I've got my doubts on the CZ ever being concealed by anything other than my flak jacket... If I can bring the CLEO around to my way of thinking, I might even get my CCP.

Also, as a side note, I'm a fairly small person, so the PPK fits me best of the three for quick drawing and natural aim. Damn small fingers. And I'm not kidding, they're like little girl hands.

very true indeed, I wanted one just for the "cool factor" (because Bond used it), not so much the actual concealability or overall effectiveness as a weapon:wink:
