Here's the DMPS AR that I got in March. I was plinking 4 inch targets off hand at 100 yards. I know I can dial it in pretty tight though....

I may add an M4 upper to my retro A1, one of these days.

Sweet rifles, M1 what kind of sling is that?

Spec-Ops M4 sling. It was on the shelf in clothing sales at the PX. Its a solid sling and was about $30 I think.

I have to admit I thought more than a few times about purchasing one of those "tactical" slings for one of my rifles...but thought ...how much time do i spend with my rifle ...standing on guard duty or walking on patrol ? Answer : None :icon_neutral: Those slings are not the "best" target slings and i suppose they could be used for hunting I guess...but....If....I ever become a soldier of fortune I'm getting one for sure

I just needed a sling and it was the only on that was a sling at the PX :) I didn't want a 1 point sling.

I understand I was just kidding a bit.. :sorry: I would still like to buy one to put on my AR just to try it out  Somewhere there was a thread on how to make your own for like $7 in parts (before shipping).

Jfowl31 makes them for $35 and man they are nice! I have one for my CETME and love it. Need to order one for my AK as soon as I figure out what kind of Butt stock I'm gonna get. Check the for sale section for the Jfowl31 slings...hard to go wrong with them.

You are going to get slapped with the pimpstick suggesting that Tanker put an airsoft site on his rifle:airtight::nonono:

Nice rifles. I still need to get a collapsible stock for my carbine.

Yeah, but they changed the name K. Its pretty solid and I read a lot of reviews before I bought it. The mount it came with sucked, so I got a midwest industries mount. I haven't shot it yet K, I'll know more if I can find a damn babysitter.

The single point sling is worth it....
I have a supersling on my M-4, I put it on there for the pig hunts. This past weekend my buddy brought his AR with his shiny new single point.... I know what I'll be ordering now.

I sk this just because it is what happens to me. With a single point sling what do you do to protect the barrel when you have both of your hands busy and kneal in mud on rocks etc. I have a one point I will probably keep it but am really going to look at the Vickers 2 point
ETA with a can mounted a 1 point has it knocking my knees and shins

I have the Hakko 4x21 colt style scope, and it is a very nice optic. I wouldn't think twice about trying another Hakko product.

Here is my DPMS I bought while back. It shoots good groups even though i have a really cheap scope on it.
