Got the US made HK23 style cocking handle installed.
It sure is alot bigger than the 91 handle.
Not sure if I will like it but will give it a chance.

Wow! That is a MONSTER! Good price and a US-made part, too.

Was it hard to install? Does it feel any better? Do I need one? :)

I was interested in getting one of those 23E cocking handles. Thanks for the pics, but it's kind of hard to get a sense of the scale still. Does the new handle look awkwardly large on the rifle or is it not that big of a deal?

to get a sense of scale, look at how far the end of the handle goes past the ribs on the cocking tube. Its pretty stinkin big... I want one!

About a year ago and they are great for breaking in tight guns you just put together! They are easily removed for that original look also! Wish they would get PSG1 forearms and cocking tubes now so I can finish my g3 project to PSG1!

I have one in the mail,, ordered it the 24th,,, dang shipping is almost as much as the part!!!

I'm also going to put a smith ent. flash hider on this gun and then I will have 7 comp. parts and I can keep the original wood on the gun ,, I just like the wood.

I got the ejection bugs worked out,,, she's singing now:icon_biggrin:

So when I take it apart for this I plan on blasting it and then put the dura-coat on for the finally:jumping:

I've seen these and I've always wondered... Do the handles have any markings that might identify them as a US part?

No marking what so ever.
The receipt doesn't say where its made, only the web site says US Made.

I just installed mine and I love it! That extra leverage makes cocking much easier - especially off-handed or prone. Money well spent, in my book.

Got to use it and it works way better than the orignal but doesn't look right, it will grow on me over time.
