While I was going through my ammo boxes I stumbled upon one I forgot I had. Once I opened it up I scratched my head and thought "where did this come from?". A 50.cal. ammo box that contained 2 battle packs of Aussie 308ammo 4 battle packs of S.African 308 and 15 in the wrap G-3 mags. How in the hell I forgot I had this I will never know. The price tag on the Aussie box was $20. The S.African was .$25 . I dont know weather to shoot this stuff or have it dipped in gold....Oh well I guess a day at the range is in order. Kinda felt like a kid at christmas.

Don't ya love that, like Xmas all over again, I have been sending mags, parts kits, and all kinds of stuff that I can't have here "Kalifornia", to my buddy in North Carolina, I'm sure I forgot half of the stuff, I'll be there in three weeks, I can't wait.

I love California but the lawmakers there really scare me like nothing else, other than Hickory Cliton.

Now you know how Planning feels when he opens a long forgotten safe: "So THAT'S where I put that (insert name of rare firearm, box of gold, etc). Good for you.

sell lots of it, and use the money to buy another rifle that shoots cheap ammo!

Kind of had a mini xmas the other day... cracked open my spam can of 7.62x54 and it ended up being 8mm... so I ended up shooting the Persian yesterday insted of seeing how well the 91/30 ex-sniper is shooting. Oh well.

That South African is now going for $75 to $100 a battle pack at gun shows here. I have also seen it going for $139 at one gun store. I bought a case of it at $21 a battle pack and now I am tempted to sell it and buy a new rifle. Its now worth more than the Cetme I shoot it out of.

Heck, I might have to liquidate bunches of my .308(or at least all of my sa battle packs) and figgure out what to do with the money. Heck its good in one way I never have time to shoot I guess. :)

Not to minimize your find but I just picked up over 6,000 rounds of good 308 (aussie, port, hint and radway) for $0.22 a round! It was like a cheap ticket to heaven.
