I'll be getting a plastic box, probable a double pistol case, for my ruski scope, but I wanted a way to put the rubber eye piece in without distorting it. I also wanted a way to mount the eye piece quickly to the scope. So here I am with a flip up cover I don't want and an eye piece I do want. Hmmmm. Hello Mr dremmel. Cut the ears off the filp up, smooth it out, put the body in the freezer and the eyepiece in real hot water. Play a game of solitare, gather the parts and work the eye piece over the flip up body. It worked! Easy on and easy off, I'll cut out some foam for the unit and be set. Sorry about the first pic, I wasn't going to pull the pieces apart again.
