Here is a trio of my WWII battlerifles from 1943. A Springield M1 Garand, an Inland M1 Carbine, and a Springfield 03A3 by Remington.

Yes, it's a brake from Smith Enterprise. It takes just a moment to install or remove so it takes just a few minutes to return the whole rifle to its original configuration. I know that the Garand has a relatively mild recoil for a .30-06 but, with my arthiritis I will take any help that I can get and this thing does help. It's a real pussy cat with that thing on there.
