The only thing is un edcuated and low skill american have the same drag on the economy too. The folks(americans) I see here actually have a huge drag one the econmey, the folks that are suspected to be illegals, want to work.

So if we deal with the illegal immigratants, what do we do with the others draging the economey down, the folks that are from here, that live without the bennifits of edcuation dragging the system down too. Seems the report is predicated on edcuation and lower edcuated folks dragging the "rest of us" down.

Okie, you are right, it is not just illegals who are costing us, but all of the uneducated.

The point about the illegals is that a huge majority of them are NOT educated, and on AVERAGE they cost the US government tens of thousands of dollars each year in benefits per family.

The US government social structure cannot handle the added load of supporting these illegals in addition to the existing low-education CITIZENS that are already putting a drain on the available funds.

No doubt that these people need help, but it is the responsibility of THEIR government to provide that support, not OURS. The US government should be beholden to US citizens and those who through the legal and correct immigration process gain residence here, not to anyone who holds out their hand. To do that is fiscally irresponsible to the taxpayers.
