I got a call today that my PSL I had ordered came in today! I was excited. I think I am really gonna like it. Like an AK on steroids and nothing "rattles". I have it broken down in Diesal to clean all the old cosmoline off. I'll reassemble her tomorrow and take some photos to post here.

What is a PSL? Can you post a picture of one or pull a shot of a web site?

I remember when the Russian version was going for $800 a number of years ago. I was slightly tempted to get one then, but did not.

Well I finally got to shoot her today. I stripped it down yesterday and soaked all the metal parts in diesal for 24 hours. It really cleaned the cosmoline that was hidden inside things. I then cleaned off the diesel and oiled everything a took her to my range. I did the proper break in for the barrel (since it was new/unfired) cleaned ever shot for the first 10 rounds, then every 3 for the next 21 rounds. During this time I was zeroing the scope. I'm not saying that the scope was hard to zero, but it definitely took some getting used to its method. Then after all that I shot her first 5 shot group and 100 yards with some armor piercing ammo I picked up a while back. I have to say I was blown away at how accurate this rifle can be when you take your time!
