My wife and I had two tables at a nearby gunshow this weekend; I sold 5 rifles and rolled the money over into 4 handguns...a KHAR P9, an older S&W Model 58 (.41 Magnum), a S&W Model 469 (chopped Model 59; 12 rounds, 3.5" barrel, and a Walther TPH - call it a micro PPK chambered in .22 lr.

I like them all but the S&W 41 mag is the coolest. I understand some western states used them for the Highway Patrol and State Police
Is this an ex Police pistol or a civilian model?

Norton - a commercial model as far as I can tell. From what I have heard, the Model 58 .41 Magnum in blue is rare; nickle is unobtanium rare.

On a historical note, the .41 Magnum's original name was .41 Police; its original intended purpose was to replace the .38 Special as a LE round. Too bad it didn't catch on; it really is a great caliber.

the 41 mag is very nice, I have always wanted one but have never put it on the buy list.

The .41 mag is nice. I've always like wheel guns for some reason.
