I got this part in a small lot of AR parts I bought,Yankee Hill Manufacturing rail do-dad...not sure what its for or where it fits.
Dont think its a gas block and it fits too loose on my H-Bar barrel to be some kinda front sight base accessory rail do-hicky...any ideas?
This mount attaches to the barrel of your AR-15 to allow the mounting of picatinny accessories. Its three mounting surfaces allow you to attach accessories such as flashlights, laser sights, grips, etc. at 3, 6, and 9 o'clock. Mounts to barrels with diameters of .730 and .750 (required bushings included) with supplied cap screws. Designed to fit rifles with and without a bayonet lug. Made from aircraft quality aluminum and hardcoated to mil. specs.
